#pandemic Interior Design. #lockdown interiors |
According to some researchers, including the W.H.O., the 21st
Century will have pandemics (Yes, you read correctly: Plural, i.e. pandemics).
Which implies that this situation will resurface, a few more times. This is alarming
for all, especially for us architects.
We designers need to rethink home and work spaces, to address the new
realities. The very conception of our home has to be reexamined. Architects and
Interior Designers are forced to actually design “friendly prisons”, where we can
quarantine, without feeling anxious, depressed or suicidal; in fact, these
spaces should be relaxing, invigorating or even spiritual. It’s obvious that a
home no longer needs to only accommodate shelter and food, but a host of other
necessities; mainly, prolonged stay.
#stayinghome while in #Quarantine
is a new reality, which will surface again and again in our century. We
architects and Interior Designers should be able to address this. Read how, in
my #1 rated AMAZON e-BOOK in its category (upon its release on 2-2019), just out on a second
edition! Read and enjoy (as much as it's possible) being #lockdown and see how my proposed #pandemicinteriors can help ! You may preview the eBOOK HERE . Thanks.
